The RESPI ® mask is anultra-lightweight (55 g ) alternative silicone mask designed to maximize breathability and comfort, without neglecting the economic and environmental aspects . Thanks to their morpho-adaptable technologythe selected durable materials provide a perfect fit and seal and therefore prevent the formation of of fogging on the glasses. The design of the mask allows it to be moved away from the user’s mouth. Breathability is maximized.

UNS1 category filters approved byAFNOR, interchangeable and washable (20 times), which are inserted in the flexible support of the mask, ensure a filtration efficiency of 94% for particles of 1 and 3 microns for optimal protection. Better than a surgical mask from Asia.

Combining Technology and Style, the RESPI mask provides maximum breathability with optimal protection.

The RESPI mask, whose model is registered, was designed by two experts in industrial design in the field of sports and design thinking, Damien Saumureau and Antoine Harpages, and two companies specializing in polymer processing. After nearly 6 months of work by enthusiasts, a study of use with future users (retailers, professionals, general public), of the life cycle of a mask, and then several more months of R&D and work on the design and industrialization of processes, the new RESPI ® mask was born.

Silicone material was selected for the production of the RESPI mask for several reasons:

  • Silicone is a chemically inert material widely used in the health field
  • It is morpho-adaptable and fits perfectly to the contours of the face for an optimal waterproofness increasing the protection of the user and avoiding the formation of fog on the glasses
  • It is of mineral origin since it is synthesized from silicon, a natural element found in sand and quartz. When mixed with other elements such as oxygen, carbon and hydrogen, silicon becomes silicone.
  • From an ecological point of view, silicone is extremely durable and does not pollute the oceans. Unlike plastic, it does not break down into micro-fragments and is not toxic to aquatic organisms or soil. The life span of silicone is much longer than that of plastic. It withstands extreme temperature fluctuations without melting, cracking or otherwise degrading. Although not biodegradable, silicone can be 100% recycled after a lifetime of use.

The silicone mask can therefore be washed over and over again in the dishwasher or washing machine.

How do I clean my mask?

The silicone faceplate of the mask must be washed every 4 hours with a disinfectant solution in spray or wipe form. It can also be washed in a washing machine, dishwasher or in a pan of water heated to 60°C for 30 minutes.

How do I clean the filters?

Change the filter after wearing the mask for 4 hours, when il becomes difficult to breathe, or if the mask becomes very wet. The filters can be washed up to 20 times each at 60°C in the washing machine or dishwasher for at least 30 minutes.

How long will my mask last?

The RESPI® mask is designed to be long lasting, so washing should not alter the protection of the mask. The filters can be used 20 times each, a marking is provided on the filters to count its use.

My mask has a smell, is it normal?

Yes, to ensure perfect hygiene, the masks are washed with a non-toxic detergent before packaging. The smell will fade after a few days, you can also rewash it without detergent.

Condensation is forming in my mask, what should I do?

In certain cold and/or humid conditions, condensation may occur.
This does not affect the filtration capabilities of the mask. A simple wipe on the inside of the skirt is enough to eliminate this phenomenon.
